little helpFollow

so i rolled on my friends server and they want me to play either shammy or pally for arena both are 36 and 42 but i don know which to choose i was thinking shammy since ret is so much more gear dependent but ionno some advice would help plz! oh i offered to just go holy but they dont have any warrior or rogue for melee so they want me ret if i do roll pally but like i said just seem to gear dependent to go int here with outland blues and some pvp gear bought from honor just seems like shaman has more capabilities as melee in pvp but maybe im wrong I havent played either at 70 so i wouldnt know so i come to you guys! help meh

are you sure pally or shammy is what you need you never listed they're classes.
