Right, really mysterious ammo huh? It is even named "mysterious" for double effect.

Nice DPS, but it’s a bit pricy. It’s going to be painful to fill up those 24 slot bags. I still need over 3k gold for my epic flying skill. Once I’ve finished with my big expenses it might not be such a big deal. But for now I think I’ll pass.

Yeah, these will be pricey compared to the CE and Thrallmar rep ammunition, but not compared to the crafted Adamantite Shells I have been using to raid with. I am paying through the nose at the AH for mats. Luckily, I have an engineering buddy who crafts them for free, in exchange for the occational LW combine.

This new ammo will make a nice intermediate step between the CE and Thrallmar rep ammuition and the Timeless ammuntion from Caverns of Time. Crafted ammo will become at best a niche market, for those hunters who cannot or will not grind reputation.

I am not a big fan of having to go to Karazhan every day to stock up on ammo. At least the trip will be better than for Timeless ammuntion. If your hearth is on cooldown at Karazhan, you will have the option to ride over to the portal. If your hearth is on cooldown when you are at the caverns of time, you either need to find a friendly mage, or you have a long trip ahead of you to get back to Outlands.

[EDIT: I just learned of a faction arrow vendor in Shatt that sells all the faction ammunition on the PTR. It sounds like a convenience for the PTR only, but I sure would love to see that vendor go live. That would save me loads of time every day.]

There is some serious hunter love coming from Blizzard lately. Gotta admit, I am feeling all warm and fuzzy about Hunter prospects.

What!

46.5 DPS is hot. Warden's arrows are fine for 5 mans or w/e else but for raiding these are nice. Rather pricey but I personally don't mind paying for more dps. Looking forward to these.

Well, it might be a shock to fill a 24 slot quiver with those- but think of it this way: unless your hit rating is crappy, you won't waste them!

...wow... that's 2s every time you miss a shot.

Fortunatly, i'm a miner with epic flier, so filling up the bag with Adamantite Shells still works until CoT ammo. Even then, it might just be swapping Adamantite for shells, for gold for CoT shells. It's a nice go-between, I guess. By the time you get Revered with Violet Eye, you should definetly have Timeless Shells though.

I wish that were true; Isnt that Hyjal rep only? My guild regularly runs kara but that's it. Only took me a month or so to hit exalted Violet Eye but i dont think I'm even friendly with the Scale of the Sands yet. For hardcore raid wannabes like myself this is great ammo.
