i usually raid pre TBC raids for fun and also thunderfury just wondering is it worth bothering now i have one of the bindings and the essence and i can easily get the bars i think from asking on my server forums for the ore and a price i guess just wondering if its worth going to MC when i get the chance to try for the drop?

Second, no it isnt worth it from a perspective of USEFULNESS! But, if you want to say you have TF and run around town with, who's to say its not worth it for you?

Short answer, the Thunderfury fails for DPS.

I've seen a few rogues and warriors using it in TBC around shat, none that I have raided / 5-manned with however. I would venture to guess that it took them so much time that they are have some sort of emotional attachment to it, despite the poor dps it has.

Its better than revenger but worse than fireguard, latro's shifting sword and S1 offhand sword. If you use it for anything more than showing it off in town your just gimping yourself.

*edit* I could see maybe in BG's to swap out for a proc but I doubt it would be worth it to do in rated arena.
