"Easy" HeroicsFollow

This may be a funny question to ask, but I would like the opinions here from all those who are knowledgeable, as to which instances I should try and run ... in heroic mode .... as a Fury Warrior, to farm Primal Nethers.

I'm just about to (Hopefully) join a guild which has a VERY relaxed attitude to playing, aren't planning on raiding, at least not 25-man (the logic is that they've all been-there-done-that, and now just wanna relax and have fun). Me, I think that's just great ... a bunch of really nice people, well-versed in the game, experienced, friendly and helpful.

I, on the other hand, have one small goal. I haven't run any instances, as haven't really seen the need, being mostly a solo player, and have kitted myself out relatively well with quest rewards, rep rewards, crafted items and pvp rewards.

What I would REALLY like to do, however, is upgrade my Planar Edge to a Black Planar Egde, which would require at least 8 Heroic instance runs.

Now I'm relatively sure that the guys in the new guild would help me out(the one has specifically said on a number of occasions that he'd be happy to help out with anything if I asked him), the question is, which heroic instance would be the best / easiest to farm (bearing in mind I'll be wanting to do them as dps)

Mechanaar (5 Badges FTW!), Steamvault, Slave Pens, Blood Furnace, Ramparts (only worth two badges, however) and suprising Heroic Black Morass are all pretty easy.

BM requires a decent, competent group not inclined to take AFK breaks but requires no CC and is almost purely a damage race instance. Go in as DPS with someone else tanking, or with a moderately sturdy offtank to snag the adds and slaughter them and you're set. If you're going in as DPS, Sweeping Strikes and Whirlwinds is enough to blow the adds up while you just burn each of the bosses... and don't be afraid to blow your Chrono Beacons, especially on the last set of waves.

Steamvaults is one of the easiest heroics. The first boss can suck if you don't have any CC but it's not really a gear issue and you can slide by with just a lot of DPS and backup healing, and the rest of the instance is pretty much beyond trivial. Black Morass is pretty trivial if you have a decent healer and good DPS.

I dont know what Heroic BM your thinking of but BM on Heroic is FAR from easy...its actually quite the opposite. Ive seen fully epiced out groups of very compitant raiders whipe there on the first few rift-lords. So unless they UBER nurfed the living hell out of the place in the last month...your pulling our legs.

Heroic Mech and Heroic Slave Pens are the easiest heroics to get nethers out of.

Bout how hard do the non-elite adds hit in heroic BM Zip. Thats the only reason I don't run it, for fear that they are like the non-elite adds in Ramps or BF that still hit for a ton.

UB is redictulously easy. Hardest part of that heroic are the Boglords and they got nerf ages ago.

Ever since they changed it to where you can't pull the elementals down the hallway we have been skipping the second "boss" in mech. Not sure how hard she is now, just easier to skip her.

Bot is also a easy 5 badges. Just have to remember he wipes aggro after the sacrifice so you have to watch yourself and have a tank that is on the ball.

I think the hardest part of Heroic BM is healing. I've been with a not so fully epic'd out group and we downed the first boss (although we struggled) but after that we started to get behind and would have 2 rifts open at the same time. The healer just couldn't heal through all of the dmg I was taking and the dmg the guy on adds was taking. I think Heroic Sethekk isn't bad as long as you have the right group, but thats any heroic I think.
