It's really a trade off.
One has +hit and +defense
The other has +Mace, a bit more stamina, and quite a bit more DPS for better aggro holding. Well the DPS is enough to make me question using it anyway.
Any help on this one would be great.

Use the Nightmace on bosses, the Kopesh on trash mobs.
Bosses = mitigation + HP
Trash = stacked avoidance.
If you absolutely only want one, I'd go for the Nightmace. Not sure how the skill rating matches up to the hit rating on the Kopesh but it should be useful, and the much higher dps = better aggro. 12 defense rating isn't gonna make up for that dps gap.

Hmm, using both in situational ways never crossed my mind. I may just do that. That makes sence tho use Def for multi mobs, +hit will get me rage to keep spamming T. Clap. Even tho the 10 extra DPS would prolly do that also.

I'd say if you have enough defense already, good with the mace. If your lacking Hit you could go with the sword I suppose.
I think the 13 hit on it is a greater amount than 19 mace skill, but I don't know weapon skill very well, and after 2.3 that Weapon skill is becoming Expertise rating.

Both are nice, but you can get any non-tank 1h that is substantially faster to do the job. I'd start the quest to get Grom'tor's Charge. 1.6 speed plus 30 stam, agi and some def rating, its probably the better tanking weapon out there, until you can get the Sun Eater or something. 1.6 speed is nice for threat production. Chiggity check it yo.
Try getting Grom'tor's Charge from the quest chain The Hand of Gul'dan in SMV. It's propably the best Pre'raid wep after the sun eater.
The Kopesh held me over until I could pick up [wowitem=31071]Grom'tor's Charge[/wowitem]. It's at the end of a long quest chain that starts with Enraged Spirits of Fire and Earth.
