Herbalism or Enchanting to go with Tailoring?Follow

I'm currently a level 22 Warlock, have Tailoring at 110, and currently have Herbalism as my second craft, to gather money. While it produces a reasonable amount of income, it's nothing awe-inspiring. And, I've been wondering about the usefulness of enchantments, recently.

Am I better off sticking with Herbalism for the extra income, or switching over to Enchanting to help buff myself up?

Friend of mine makes a lot from plant gathering, pot making and selling. You can also make a mint from disenchanting and selling the mats. Plus, you can buff yourself in the process. I have found enchanting to be HARD work levelling though. Currently at 302 and thinking I might as well stick at that, disenchant for money and buy any buffs I want.

Hope this helps. I suspect it doesn't...!

im in the same predicament, enchanting has wasted a decent amount of money for me to level so far, and herbalism is pure profit even if it doesnt make much in the begining so what i did was drop enchanting for herbalism cuz IMO its less frustrating, though it was nice to put health enchants on my armor, but armor kits arnt so bad.

Tailoring usually supports your effort to raise enchanting - i.e. you make things to dust to do your enchants.

Herbalism is a good money maker.

Honestly though? Mining will make you more money. A stack of copper ore will sell for 2-3g on my server. A lot of people are leveling jewelcrafting/engineering/blacksmithing. Three professions require a lot of ore. Having leveled both Jewelcrafting and Engineering past 350.. I can tell you that both require a LOT. Expecially Mithril/Thorium/Fel Iron/Adamantite. But the lower level ores sell, and sell well.

While enchanting should indeed buff yourself up, that shouldn't be your primary reason for choosing it. Enchanting is the fast path to riches. Use the AH as your farming ground, and you can easily make 200-300G per day while still giving yourself enough rime to go out and level your character.

Tailoring? Meh. I look at tailoring as a means of getting yourself level 70 purples, not providing yourself with outfits on your way up. Still it's one way of providing yourself with low-level greens to disenchant. Not as many as you can find on the AH, but still some.

I'd say that a lot depends on your herbalism level. Drop whichever craft is lower.
