Posted this on an earlier thread under a diiferant subject didnt get too much feedback, but what do yall think about this for pvp? Crits would proc a 3 pt flurry, impale and a 2 pt blood frenzy. I was thinking that this would get more bang for my points and also enable a debuff on an oppenent even if i die (planned 3v3 with 2 rl friends feral druid and a hunter). Or is it better to just dump all 5 in flurry?

why would you get imp. charge when you don't have TM? and why do you only have 2/5 in 2h spec?

5/5 is only 5% more damage, yes. but it affects every ability you use while using a 2h.

It's not as good of an increase as others, but for the placement it's at, you usually will get 3/5 at least in it.

for pure PVP (esp arena) take 2 points out of imp 2h and put them into imp. hamstring

This is question for the more experienced PvP warriors. Am I correct when I think that 5/5 in parry talent isn't really good for PvP. I know it is good to avoid that hit from someone but as a 2H weapon warrior I would think that parrying an attack isn't really good as it resets your swing timer (that is what I thought is the case). So, you may save a bit of your HP but worst case scenario means that you will have to wait ~7s for your next attack to go ahead.

Am i completely off the track here or there is some merit in this :-).

PS. For DW this is not such an issue of course

From WoWWiki:
"* Your chance to parry can be increased with talents (some classes), equipment, and/or higher defense skill.
* If you parry an attack, the auto attack timer seems to be modified. You actually swing faster after a successful parrying (see here)."

Doesn't explicitly say that it resets the timer or that you will hit sooner or later than if you hadn't parried, but maybe it will help.

If you parry an attack it'll make you swing _faster_, not slower. If it's above 40% of the swing timer remaining it'll give you a good haste boost on that swing. If you've got 40% or less of the swing timer left you'll attack _instantly_ on a parry.

It's a good thing, not a bad thing.

Thanks for the information guys,

That means another respec for me :-). Could you guys comment on the build that I intend to make now for PvP

http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/warrior/talents.html?050250213020105220012005501013002501200000000300000000000000000000

Start of the fury tree is something I am still not sure about and don't know how it is going to affect the play but the Arms is something that I am more comfortable with,

Cheers,
S
PS. This is my armory link so you can have a better idea of what my gear is like. Currently working on my PvP stuff given that until recently I was mostly tanking

Good stuff guys thank you. Didnt know about the parry thing thats freakin great. After leveling a mage and being all over those forums it is nice to get back to folks that seem to put alot of facts into the replies instead of the same old "my spec pwns urs so its better!" bs I am used to over there.
