I was curious if I should look more the +damage to gear at low levels or get more stam gear. I am lvl 13 atm and looking to start in the BG soon but confused to which gear to wear. For example, I have the Butcher's apron which has +8 stam (+12 with the patch) and have a +100 health enchant. Or I can use or a mysitc robe with +8 int and +4 spell damage w/same 100 health enchant. Do I need to look for more stam gear or damage gear? Not sure which is greater need.

Personally I always went with +sta gear and used a lot of Life Tap. Still do actually.

4 Spell damage by itself is not going to make a difference. Especially since the formulas for applying Spell Damage are based on coeffiecients and you will get a fraction of that 4. Before level 40, where you start seeing more Spell Dam and can rack up more than 4 points, Sta is definately priority.

Eh..as a low level lock in the battlegrounds I have generally had a very sad existence. Their twinks> you, even if you are a twink as well. Then again I have never twinked out a warlock..hmm. well best of luck, but +stam is definately better then +shadow, unless you can find it in a substantial amount

+stam all the way to AT LEAST 40 in my opinion.

At low levels I'd only use 'of stamina" or 'of the eagle.'

Or nice blues.

Spell damage doesn't make sense until very high levels, imho.

The exception is a bg twink lock. I've seen a few who can do some nasty shadowbolt crits, and they do it w/ spell damage gear and enchants (and if over 30, with the talent Ruin). They are mostly, however, getting their +spell damage from enchants. Very expensive ones, I might add. (they can also be mean little afflock-drainers in bgs, w/ lots of spell dam). GL

Doesn't matter how much damage your doing (Well), because as soon as you DoT someone up, thier gonna come squishy hunting. Of course, if you enjoy do'in the graveyard shuffle, go with damage.....if you don't enjoy it....lol....re-roll!

That is a good question though! Does more Stamina provide the extra time needed to cause the amount of damage stonger spells would inflict? Squishy is, as squishy does.....even after we're sent packing to the GY, our spells DoTs keep on ticking.

Hmmmm.......perhaps Balance!

Personally I never really used +sta gear for the prolonged life in BG, I used it for being able to Life Tap that one or two extra times and send the person that came Squishy hunting running in Fear while my DoTs killed him. Again.
