Hey gang was wondering if I need to be a blacksmith or mast swordsmith to use this, or just a lvl 70 with a high sword rating will do? It's a pretty sweet piece and would love to have one and use it on those horde dudes in PVP.

Swordsmith is a speciality within blacksmith (others are axesmith, hammersmith and armorsmith). You can only choose one speciality at a time (you can always switch, but it'll involve gold, re-leveling, and you can't use certain items you might have created in your old speciality). Choose carefully! I'm a 70 pally and have yet to find any use for armorsmith except for making gear for other people/alts.
