K...so...In Ya'lls opinion... :) ... Give me the best situations for each Minion! Of course, I expect a wide variety of answers, and maybe some insults.(they make me laugh). If you can, include "Why". Also, where should I place my extra skill points for the best results....ie...kill, and not be killed when solo'ing?

So how do you become a Scholar again, and what is the point? Is it really that hard to type... not like a moron?

Including the word "please" at least once in your first post would possibly result in a more friendly response from other users.
People like to help when they're asked to, but they don't like being told to.

Dude, I think he's doing that for comedic effect. Even if not, there's no need to flame him in two separate topics.

In response to the actual question, THIS is a pretty nice soloing build. Basically send in the Voidwalker, DoT up, Life Tap for mana and Drain Life. This is called Drain Hunting. (in Soviet Exodar, pet tanks for YOU!)

If you want, you can also go for THIS. This time you DoT up, send pet in to DPS, then Drain to keep your health up. The difference is, this time the mob is whacking you! When your Succie gets low from Soul Link, Health Funnel it to full. This is Drain Tanking. That build is also pretty viable in the Arena, too.

In an instance, however, your group will be tanking for you. In this case, you should DoT up, send in Succubus (in either build, VW isn't that powerful in a group) then Shadow Bolt to your heart's content (Remembering to renew DoTs, of course!) Whenever you're on the move or low on mana (<25%), Life Tap. Make sure you can still survive any mob AoEs! When you're at about 20% life, Drain Life all the way back to 100%, then rinse and repeat.

(note that those builds were mangled versions of some Warlock I found here's build, and could probably be made a lot better without much effort.)

There's posts about the pets all over. I guess they fell off the first page though.

Imp - Mostly used by drain tankers and Affliction locks that use him as a mana battery. Also used in Instances and groups for his Sta buff

Voidy - He's you meat-sheild, need to take on multiple mobs or prefer a drain-hunting style, he's your man.

Succy - IMO she's more of a PvP Demon. Before Affliction 'locks get Dark Pact, she's used in Drain Tanking as she's an excellent source of damage. Her Seduce ability will also come in handy in some instances for Crowb Control.

Fel Puppy - The caster killer. I rarely use him except in BGs. His paranoia ability is great for spotting those Rogues and stealthed Druids. He can also keep casters locked down.

Felguard - You gotta spec to get him, but he's great. I specced out of him as I missed my Affliction bag-o'-tricks but he's a more offensive tank. He require more maintenance than the VW but holds aggro better and deal around the same amount of damage as the succy.

I can only help you with "extra" talent points if I know where you already have them spent. If you want build help, it requires us knowing how you prefer to play and what you are planning on doing (PvP, PvE). Without this info any build I give you could be wrong for you.

Lathais pretty much sums it up well. Some drain tankers will use the Succubus even with Dark Pact because she's tougher than the imp and has some other abilities if something goes wrong, but in general if you are keeping things under control the imp is a nicer mana battery.
