I will hold my tongue and not be rude, but I wouldn't expect the same courtesy from a lot of the senior members here. There are at least 10 of these posts a week, so it'd be in your best interest to read some of them before posting.

There's really no 'best pet,' so get what you like and stick with it.

Being your padawan, north, I will answer for you. While this may be too easy for you, I shall go in your stead:
The best pet is a cat. Not a cat that you'd find in the wild, but a night elf mount. You have to use wing clip on a NE who is running around on the mount, it has a 3% chance to separate the player from the mount and stun him long enough for you to tame the mount (however, this only works while he's mounted, and not in battlegrounds...stupid nerfs from people QQing all the time). Anyway, the NE Mount actually has +10% HP, Armor, and Damage, making it the best pet in the game.
