To settle it once and for all:

For solo PVE, would you all recommend taking the Eye of the Storm talent or not?

I have been thinking about this for so long now that my head hurts /smile.

Thanks in advance!

It depends on where else you are thinking of spending your points and whether or not you are planning on speccing into resto for HF.

EotS if definitely a waste for a raid build but for soloing the chance for an uninterruptable heal is pretty nice.

Post the rest of your planned build and I will be able to give you a more accurate answer.

First of all: thanks for your quick response!

The following is my intended build (WITH EotS, WITHOUT HF):

http://wowhead.com/?talent=hE0zVsMqqotZxbe00x

The 1 point in Imp Fire Nova totem is there because I found that if I need it, pull with LB, then drop it, it sometimes is just fractional too late to my tastings. The 1 point in Elemental precision is there for less resists until I build more spell to hit, along with Nature's guidance.

The idea behind taking EotS and not HF is a little like this: EotS gives full uninterruptable status, be it BOTH for healing and damaging spells. And I find myself more in situations where I need a heal when I am getting critted.

If you have any input at all, please enlighten me! /thank

For an all round build I wouldn't worry about Totem of Wrath, it's all about raid buffing, free up the point for Nature's Swiftness, this will serve you far better for both solo'ing, PvP and 5 man's.

I'd go for something like this.

LO isn't huge atm buy with 2.3 it will be 100% essential.
