KD that is true however, since you could never ever get proof until you met the person, why not just play along ;)

Wow. When did you do that?

I hope you don't use your experience with SV to justify staying MM now though. with you gear, you would be much better served as BM than SV I would think.

On a related matter, I remember reading a chat log years ago where someone kept asking the most noobish question about installing a snippet of code somewhere, until the other person told him to run rm * -rf to solve all his problem. Still laughing whenever I think of that.

Also reminds me of the time when we had /ginvited some moron who started begging for gold after lying low for a while, and we convinced him that the cheat code for free gold was /gquit.

Lovely story, Skribs.

BM didn't work with the gear I have.

SV, I am currently at about 500Agil which I know is a little low, but I am working on getting more. Still need the chants and stuff.

When I get totally geared out, I'll ask to bring my hunter in a raid and see what happens.

Not sure I placed my talents in the right places but I think I did a good job of that, I have had absolutely no experiance with SC other than a brief stint at level 50 with it.

I will give it a shot and see what happens.

Not making sense... I am currently SV, not MM so that would kinda negate the point.

He meant how you did with BM.

I have stood accused (I think by North) of being a carebear. So I think I can say that I've defended a few newbies here and there on this forum. I actually grinned at skribs little misdirection there, read it as he intended: a joke. While I think he should've followed it up with a correct info post, a REALLY new player (as you suggest) that might get suckered by that post wouldn't have enough information to actually go do what skribs was suggesting. So I think the OP would've been fine and followed up with some other questions (which might have been amusing) if he actually swallowed the bait.

I can understand your reaction, I can understand your post, but you should be far enough along in your own board experience to know that attacks get rebuffed and you never quite know which side other posters are going to fall. I'm pretty sure you're not surprised by the reaction you got, but you should probably ratchet the responses down a tad.

All I want is diplomatic posting. Flaming accomplishes next to nothing except making people angry... but you're aware of that now I take it. ^_^

skribs:

Funny, I was in Thunderbluff as a nightelf and everyone I talked to kept saying "Thunderbluff is under attack!" or so the log read according to a Tauren friend of mine. I really wasn't there to hurt anyone or anything, never fired a shot, used FD a lot (those Taurens are suckers for Feign Death, and I hear Jerry Lewis movies too but don't repeat that, they kinda get mad!) and strangely NOBODY wanted to talk to me and everyone wanted to fight me. What's up with that? Who pee'd in their Cheerio's? I was just trying to ask a simple question...

If you're wondering why I was in Thunderbluff, well, I was told that the same ambassador was selling toll shares for a bridge from AzureMyst Isle to Darkshore, thus cutting down on the super expensive ferry service between the two places. The bridge would also allow you to remain mounted the whole time. I thought it was a good idea. If you send me 100g, I'll buy you a share in the bridge too as soon as I find that ambassador. Anyone wanting a share can send me 100g and I'll make sure you are well represented in that bridge. If you donate 200g, I hear they'll engrave a plank on the bridge with your name! So make sure if you send that 200g to me that you also give me the name you want engraved on that plank.

I meant SV. I can't figure with agi and spec the way it is you will like SV. I could see you going back to MM but it would be silly to say something like "now I've tried BM and SV and MM is way better" when SV never really stood a fair chance.

I respeced, and now I am grinding out the G it is going to require to get the rest of everything I need.

KD:

Oh, and Slo, I want "Skunkbucket" engraved on the plank, seems to me to be a heartwarming name, 200g in the mail now.
