I'm prepping my warrior to absolutely dominate at 40, he's currently 39. Me and my friend are duoing FOR FUN, and only on weekends, so we can afford to take our time and get really nice gear on our guys.

I have to say none of my level 40 gear is from SM. I do have A LOT of gear from there right now, while I'm in the BGs, though, and could see myself using the shield if I didnt have The Green Tower already.
From RFD there has been mentioned both the Carapace of Tuten'kash and the Icemetal Barbute, both of which are great pieces of plate.

You could also do ulda, but I'm not too familiar with the loot in there (I've never really had a successful run on my alts, usually end up healing the warrior who tanks in battle stance with a shield and heroic strike) so I can't mention more.

Tank, Healer, 2 DPS and a Random?
