I just started a new Night Elf warrior, where can i learn the Ranged weapon skill in or around Darnassus?

Weapons trainer in darnassus will teach you Bow. Just ask a guard for the weapons master, for the other ranged weapons go to IF and SW.
Why a bow and not a gun?
And why can't you hold a gun sideways like "gangstas" do?

because each town teaches different weapon skills. making you travel. which means blizzard is 'working as intended'.

They're gunpowder cannons which look like they weigh a good 30lbs each. Even if you could hold one in each hand, how are you supposed to reload the darn things? : )
