Pet can't learn new skills?Follow

Okay, I tried the stickies and I can't find an answer to this one.

I'm lvl 35, with a cat as my main pet. I recently picked up a Stranglethorn Tiger to teach me Dash, with the intention of teaching this to my pet. I learned the dash, no problem.

Dash 1 costs 15 training points. My pet cat has 20 training points spare, and is at sufficient level to learn it. But when I tried to teach it, it said "Your pet can't learn any more skills". Why is this? Is there a cap to the number of skills as well as the training points? Does this mean my cat can't learn any more skills, ever? (and if so what will I do with all the tp's I'll accumulate in the next 35 levels?) What's going on?

Heh, if you pet already has it, and taught it to you, you can't teach it to him again :)

Any pet can only have 4 non-passive skills.

So, if you already have, let's say, Claw, Bite, Growl, and Cower, you can't get Dash too.

No, I meant I took the Dash off the tiger, to teach to my original pet.

Is there a way to un-learn the skills it has? I'd rather lose Cower and keep Dash.

Casty:

Go to your local Pet Trainer, he has an option to unlearn pet skills, costs 10 silver if you do it once a day, you do it more than that it ramps up.
