Good god!!

My Mind.... is GONE!!!

I just came from the OoT Forum, I never knew it was there!

You guys talked about it, but I have never seen it, I was poking around and found it and I think I just lost my last few threads of Sanity within 2 posts!

Yeah, I saw you stumbled upon the OoT. And no, the OoT is a very tame place, for very balanced and relaxed people. If you are heavily medicated and drunk. Seriously though, the OoT isn't bad at all. Low stupidity bar, unless the stupidity has hilarity potential. If it doesn't have hilarity potential, it is usually torn to pieces and the thread is recycled into something more fitting the OoT.

Like a serious debate about the various merits of the Baconator versus anything from TGI Fridays.

Eh, I don't visit it much. Definitely the worst off topic community for any message board grouping I've belonged to.

Heheheh. Failed the first 20 posts or so? That's all it takes, and you are pretty much screwed for life in there. Personally, I like it in there. A nice mix of seriousness with just plain cruelty and/or silliness.

And there isn't a forum in the world with the kind of personality spectrum that the OoT is enjoying. Everything from psychotic SheepfUckers to Karmawhores and truly intelligent, educated people making intelligent, educated posts.

Nah, I made a few posts that were ignored, it's just that I don't find most of the topics that entertaining. I'm an OT regular on different boards on the net. I usually enjoy discussing music, movies, and books the most, and there aren't many discussions of those on the OoT board.

Anyone wonder why they call it the Oot and not the OT if it's just Off Topic?

the OOT is where I spend most of my day when I'm at work... I find it to be good stress relief. The people aren't bad as long as you're not a douche bag. Just lurk for a while and you'll start to figure out who people are and how they act.

I've been posting a little bit in the OoT lately. a good 75% of the posts are references to other posters or other posts that I know nothing about, so it's a bit hard at first.

just look at things like this It makes me smile, and it gives you another couple of threads to post in =P

If i had premium i would now go look for the ultimate drunk posting thread by pinky and Fianceguyt.... (hint ;) )
it was like 10+ pages of the whole collective OoT cheering at someone to keep drinking more booze and posting.
That same guy also got his rating up to 5.70ish because of all the rate-ups =P

Of course they hammered our posts, but I think that was because there were three of them in a row. They couldn't handle it.

Actually, that was for bringing WoW or something specific to other boards into the OoT. Social Faux Pa, if there ever was one. Besides, now do you guys see how much of a nice person I am? Completely mentally stable, and a mellow, serene poster to boot. As you can see, there are far worse around than me.

Yeah, I knew better then to chime in on the WOW talk... but I couldn't help myself. I hadn't been sub-d'd in a while until then.

That doesn't apply to me. I don't have an affinity for sheep, and karma continually eludes me, if she's that 'easy' and I can't find her, well, says a lot for my condition. Maybe I shouldn't post there.

I like to go through the OOT forum yelling "RED ARROW" "GREEN ARROW" in that funny accent that the guy who did some dragon raid on youtube has. Craig, you loose 50 DKP again!

QFT I made several attempts to brave the storm and keep posting there... then eventually couldn't take it anymore.

I may go back someday. There is nothing scarier than the asylum :P
