trouble with my shammyFollow

i got my shammy to 42 and currently enhancement but im finding that when fighting mobs my lvl or slightly higher 1 or 2 lvls higher that im getting horrible parried and dodged alot i have 4 lvl 70s and one being a 70 war at lvl 42 i dont remember having that bad luck getting parried 4 times in a row is common my 2h mace skill is only 5-6 points below capping not sure whats up or is it just normal and would elemental be better for lvling

If you're 42 i'm gonna guess you're dual-wielding as enhance.

41-43 you can put your talent points into +6% hit for dual-wielding, that should help a bit, but it could just be bad luck.

I've missed 7 times in a row before with a 2H, and died because of it. Just happens sometimes.

Actually, the answers to the above q's are in the original post:

Mind you, OP, with 5 levels below capping and mobs 1-2 levels above you it is (almost) the same as mobs being 2-3 levels above you.

Yes hit rating gear will help you out, but there is not TOO much of that around your level. Mainly you have to fight mobs a bit lower for now and stop focussing on the misses/parries/dodges and start enjoying the actual damage you deal /smile.

Of course it is always possible that you had a bad streak, unless it lasts longer than lets say 3 fights. If it lasts longer, while all other parameters in the equation are corrected (lower level mobs, more +hit), then you just suffer from the "bad luck - syndrome" or commonly translated "Donald Duck - ism", which unfortunately happens to be incurable.

i got a feeling its bad luck prob had a very nice run of drops in the last week 3 epics drops between lvl 40-50 and a lvl 70 epic and about 6 blue drops, i tried dual wielding and atm its going well got my flurry axe from a drop, i had a look at the edgemaster gloves i think it is the lvl 44 epic gloves with +skill to weapons would that be any use?
