Warrior talents during lvl'ing?Follow

#1 Oct 23 2007 at 3:26 AM Rating: Decent
Hi all,

I have a lvl 28 (very soon 29) DW warrior and are wondering in which order i should put my talents... the warrior is used in a Duo with my girlfriend which has a priest (shadow) and these 2 chars play together always, so if anybody have ideas I would be more than happy if u would share.

this is the build i am aiming for :

I currently have the 17 points in arms and 2 points in cruelty

best regards

ideas:

1) use a 2h til mid 60's, unless you particularly like seeing the word "miss" pop up. 17/44 is a great PvE build when you have enough gear for at least 8.6% +hit. before that, it's fun to try it out til you realize you could've killed the mob about 8 misses ago.

2) respec 5/5 cruelty, 5/5 deflection, 2/2 imp charge, 3/3 imp tclap, 3/3 deep wounds and 1/2 overpower. imp tclap will help you tank better, imp charge will help you quest better, and cruelty/deep wounds will help you dps better.

otherwise, have fun grouping with a priest, you guys should have minimal downtime both questing and LFG for instances since you already have the two most important party roles filled (tank and healer).

go down the arms tree til you get MS (this is after 5/5 cruelty)... 2/2 impale, 5/5 2h spec, 1/1 sweeping strikes, pick your weapon spec, 2/2 weapon mastery, then 1/1 MS. then you can start filling out the fury tree: fill out imp demo shout or unbridled wrath depending on your focus (pve or pvp), 5/5 commanding presence, 5/5 enrage, 5/5 flurry, 1/1 deathwish, 2/2 imp WW.

however, keep in mind that around the time you get to 68-70 you can start respecing to DW as +hit gear becomes available and you are able to push 1400AP unbuffed (this is the point at which your DPS becomes viable in an instance and you are not a dead weight dpser).

I'd fill out unbridled wrath, or, as Devious seems to prefer, place 2/5 in improved demo shout, and 3/5 in unbridled wrath. You'd only need 2/5 unbridled wrath to completely zero mob's AP in most cases.
5/5 demo shout is useful in pvp however.
