Which Arena weapon first? :: Free Realms

I have the standard aldo/latro's right now

So I have enough arena points for the off hand, and I started thinking about it. The main hand is so much more of an upgrade, would it be worth waiting several weeks and getting it?

It would mean 5-7 weeks at the rate I earn arena points. The guild i'm in kills tidewalker about every other week, so you can assume 2 kills maybe as many as 4. There is one rogue ahead of me now,so i would be next in line...considering all this what would you choose? It just seams like by the time i get the arena points I would be so close to getting the talon, or spiteblade(kill everyweek)

Any ideas?

*not saying spiteblade is better obviously, just some food for thought.

for sure. but the thing i'm worried about is having it for a week or two then getting a talon and still having latro's in my offhand

Latro's is the 4th or 5th best OH in the game. The S2 MH sword is the 3rd or 4th best, and contributes far more to your DPS.

You can also weapon swap for triple Mongoose procs.

note: patch 2.3 you can HONOR GRIND s1 weapons

get a s2 mh, by the time you do, you can prob honor grind the s1 offhand

The extra dps on the weapons I don't think is as huge for PvP as the resilience gear is. Honor grind S1 mainhand/offhand and spend the points on S3 armor.

I have the other option of using fools bane and buying off hand mace until i get tidewalker sword...I know i lose the 5% sword proc but the weapons are a bit better...what do you guys think about that?

my preference is main hand weapon, gear, off hand weapon

a lil more survivability isnt worth 15 dps difference in weapons i think

its all preference though, and i know many apeople hate looking at that damn vind brand lol

@crazyhtown

if you wanna do the maces thing, go mace spec.. if pvp is your concern mace is pro sh*t, and that sword u might hafta wait a lil while for

just something to note

its only 50g at max to go maces, 50 more to go back

rogues can grind that in an hour or 2 lol, worth the testing at the least if you go that route

well obviously its the using my arena points that i'm worried about. The respec fee has no factor what so ever. And I'm just worried about maxing my PvE damage i dont care about pvp. And i don't know where your grinding and only getting 50g an hour...

One of 3 things can happen:

I wait 5 weeks for MH and talon drops the next day leaving me with a crappy off hand choice.

I buy OH today and talon doesn't drop and I spend 8 weeks getting MH

I buy OH today and talon drops this week and next week (dreams can come true)
