OMG i am SO sick of shapeshift spamming resto druids in arena that can heal as good as any priest, survive as good as a war in bear form and cancel my hamstring whenever they ******* feel by shape-shifitng in travel form. blizzard has got to do something about it. It seriously makes me want to quit the damn game how overpowered they are in arena.

/end rant

I see you're protect spec'd. You are fighting him sword and board yes? Spam that sucka with Sunders, shield bash, concus blow, intimadate, anything you can to prevent him from casting, and staying in soft caster form.

I've beaten a druid or two just messing around, but I use Outfitter and have my outfits binded, I load up on Sunders, T. Clap, Demo. shout. I then hit my Dual wield button, get a little quick rage. Since you're Protect spec'd you can Concus blow to interrupt casting, then change to shield to continue to interrupt casting, heck if needed stance to Berserk and Pummel him. I change my outfits when I see fit. Shield if I'm in need of interrupting spells, or you can always kick his butt with a shield thanks to specs.

You don't let him get that heal off you're ok. Can always bandage up when he breaks your hammy prolly with traven form, then Intercept him.

Meh, looks good on paper right lol. How does your normal fights go? I'm courious to read about it.

Sadly druids are one of the most annoying healers to down, along with holy/prot paladins.

A good deterrence for a healer is force him to keep moving: use slam liberally whenever that druid plants his feet down and starts casting something. As long as he keeps moving, he'll be limited in his healing options. Also download a swing timer, so you can time your slams right after white hits.
Another good slam opportunity is when your mace stun/deep thunder stun procs.
But be sure to spec improved slam. 2/2 improved slam is the only viable slam in pvp.

The shapeshifting > hamstring problem is a very annoying one, but just be sure you're using intercept + hamstring. The busier he is shapeshifting and running from you is more time he isn't healing his teammate(s).

i think id rather face a dozen holy/pvp pallies than a single resto druid with good gear who knows what hes doing. id probably stand a better chance of killing the paladins.

druids that know what theyre about are insanely hard to kill.

I am good at chasing druids as long as they dont have auto root talent. Just use hamstring whenever he shapeshifts and PH if he manages to get out.

Keep Intercept for special ocasions, like when he roots / cyclones you.

Druids are a very special class in Arena. If not played well he is very weak and easy to kill.
I remember helping PvE geared hunter to get his 10 matches in 2v2. We won with 2 x feral druid combo twice even though I died as first first time (hunter just kept fearing beast) and hunter died as first second time (I outdpsed 2 feral clueless druids, they didn't bother to heal :O and I abused Inti shout and Sweeping Strikes).

But when druid is good - the word Overpowered is what describes him best.

Gotta love a druid who can play the class though. I give that to them, but the shapeshifting is rediculous though. I love it when they cyclone me and their partner still trys to hit me lol, nubcake. When the shapeshift I just spam hammy, or PH and if they root me, I fear them, or Pummel them if I'm in range. Keep them running and healing themselves and their partner(s) is/are good as dead.

But you think Druids are bad, Hunters are losing their dead zone and are getting more OP as the game moves on. Anywho..thats my 2cents.
