This is my build now. I was really tired when I did this and didn't max out piercing ice at the time. I am going to respec I think and max piercing ice out. Now for my question should I get the point for ice block and take out a point in frost channeling or something else?

that is a very tough decision, I think that you will be good with the choice that you made. One thing I would change though is to put 2pts into improved counter spell + 1 in arcane absorption or arcane focus, I don't think you will be using arcane blast/arcane explosion very much, but having a few nice resists = mana or a lesser chance for a sheep to resist is always nice.

Ok, I will try that and it will be a little more helpful if I pvp too. I decided I am going to keep iceblock and leave that point out of frostbite. We were trying gruuls last night and I had to pop ib before the priest was even down, so I am doing way more damage. Buffed I am up over 1000. I am gonna have to watch omen alot more now.

At that level of gear, deep frost will be > than arcane/frost for raid DPS (mainly from Empowered Frostbolt being better than Mind Mastery at decent spell damage levels, plus Water Ele being great, threat-free DPS).

With a 10/0/51 build, I think I was sitting at about 600 frost damage or so. Now with mm unbuffed I think I am right around 770ish. With all the raid buffs, pots, flasks, etc, i was just breaking 1000 last night. I would say that 1000 is better then 600. I plan on switching back to full frost when I get a couple more epic drops from kara and gruuls.
