SCT and Retribution AuraFollow

Hi all, quick question. I'm running SCT (from wowace.com) and SCTD, and have noticed that the 5 damage dealt by Retribution Aura (I'm level 16, so still new at the class) doesn't show up at all amongst the damage numbers.

I have a 40 Mage and a 70 Warrior and haven't noticed any types of damage from these 2 classes being missed by SCTD so far, I even see if the damage from Ret Aura has been resisted.

Has anybody else encountered this, or is this simply a shortcoming in the add-on.

ps. I have turned off energy gains, as I have no desire to be spammed every time I gain a rage point ... perhaps the damage from Ret Aura is classified under this area.

Thanks in advance.

I think there's a specific setting you have to activate in SCTD for that. My memory might be hazy though, haven't used SCT since July (I switched to Parrot and never looked back).

Aarggh, another person pointing me to Parrot ... Maybe it's about time I gave it a try.

Hmmm ... ponders (in a very Paladin kinda way)

Shameless Plug: I wrote a review of Parrot on my blog, and you'll find a link to another comparison between SCT and Mik's Scrolling Battle Text in there as well.

I use Parrot, too, but...

Check your "damage dealt" throttling (or any setting that mentions throttling). This is the setting that you adjust to avoid spamming your screen with tons of tiny bits of damage. You might have the threshold set above 5 damage.

Beyond that, I have no idea.
