As a 70 mage only a few weeks old I'm doing just about everything in the game i can do. Need G for mats.... need to farm for mats.. running things up to kara for gear and rep. Plus wanna get some PvP gear so doin some BGs and arenas too.
I know this is just a spin off of some other builds but tell me what you think. I can do the damage I need for kara but the imp CS and PoM gives me some good options in PvP. Still sucks compared to frost on small teams but I do ok. I have the battlecast set and spellfire set with a few other epics i've picked up.

First I would drop wand spec because it is possibly the stupidest talent ever.
Arcane fortitude seems great in theory but it doesn't really help in the long run it's a useless talent.
I'd suggest taking all your points in arcane fortitude and wand spec and putting them in imp Arcane missiles because AM is a good spell for beating down casters
otherwise I see nothing wrong with it

If you want to have good PVP options and still do small raids like kara and 5 mans go with this build

Again, Concentration is key here, Arcane Mind to beef up that mana pool and my all time favorite talent, Instability adding crit and damage. A solid PvE spec with big numbers. Another option with this spec is to drop Meditation and get Potency.
