The patch notes are frequently out of date, or just plain wrong.

For the interested, here's some comparisons for hemo versus combat from spreadsheets over on EJ.

Whenever I link to EJ, I always like to point out that posting without spending a few hours reading/searching for similar answers/questioned generally gets you yelled at/flamed/stabbed.

i still believe that this http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=f0eboZ0eV0bVzLMZVMe0MhMo would beat this http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=f0eboZ0eV0bVzxMZVMe0Mhzo

20%more damage over 1% for sword to proc i feel is worth it, you still end up with 4sword spec but gain 10% more damage once target is below 35%

The 10% damage only applies to special attacks, but sword spec is for all attacks. You can basically add 1% of your average MH hit to every attack you do, which adds up quickly. I wasn't sure which was better, and I'm glad somebody tested it.

could be better say if you have nice crit, but sadly im sitting around 23% and when sword spec proc the hit usually ranges from 160-400 and maybe 500-600with a crit depending on the hand it proc'd on, so to be honest i think 2dirty deed's might be better in my case with lower crit, where as 1/2DD could be better for someone up around 26-30crit.

but i dont know i could be a hundred percent wrong never liked combat so never tried to learn much about it, i also just get bored spamming SS that i usually drift off to wonderland and never notice what my sword spec is doing dmg wise, but when i do look it just always seems to of made the OH gain the extra attack which sadly isn't that impressive.

i might switch to two heavy hitting swords just for fun, i can shiv poison's up.

to test it out Im going to run VR one week with 11/28/22 then one week with 11/27/23. either way the math is pretty clear that both will yield higher dps than combat swords 19/41+1
