Yes, Last night I got my very first epic to replace one of my low lvl green items and I have got to say I got a warm fuzzy feeling inside when I did. It was just awesome to be able to say, I got one of the best quality items in the game for the first time without buying or without the intent to sell it due to growing out of it soon.

Just wondering if any of you felt the same way.

Congrats, bud!

I felt the same way; my T4 gloves were the first one to drop. I was screaming and running around the house for a good 2-3 minutes.

Congrats!

I think my first epic ever was the Amulet of the Darkmoon. I wasn't a raider then, and there were very few non-raider epics before tBC. Well, comparatively few.

grats on your first epic.

I think I crafted my first epic, Ebon Netherscale Bracers which I've since replaced.

Every time I replaced any Pre-TBC epic with a greenie in TBC, I sniffed and was on the verge of sobbing gently. When I replaced my last Epic ( The neck reward from turning in Onyxia's Head. ) I felt like crap. So replacing my Greenies with Epics is definitely a nice feeling, yeah.

But my very first Epic? Well that was on my Druid, getting the World-Drop staff thingy I can't even remember the name of. was kinda proud wielding my nice little epic pre-60.

My first epic equipped was the Worgen necklace that drops off of Attumen. It was pretty cool, but not mind-blowingly better than what I was wearing so it wasn't horribly exciting.

I was really excited by getting the Beastmaw Pauldrons, only because I had been running SV for the Beast Lord Mantle for so long, and if I had not upgraded from green to blue PvP, I'd still be wearing green there.

But by far the most exciting equipped epic was the Steelhawk Crossbow. It was a huge upgrade from my Emberhawk Crossbow. It totally made my evening.

My first epic was [Gyro-Balanced Khorium Destroyer=http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=32756&locale=enUS;source=live]Khorium-[/link]

The best feeling was not having to farm those damn elementals in nagrand...

If Wolfslayer Sniper Rifle ever drops I will run around my house screaming like a lunatic... and break out my axe and shield from the renaissance festival and go smash something in true viking nature.

Mucho congratos man!

Do any of you save those kind of things in your bank just as something to look back upon?

I've only ever had one Epic... *sigh* I was pretty excited to get it. It was the shoulders of the PvP gear for pre TBC on my pally Perek. It felt pretty cool. I asked my g/f to come over and see them, but she just shrugged and said she liked the coloring of the letters.

i think my very first epic, was actually 2, my lok and rok bow and staff, oddly enough, 5 or 6 eyes of divinity dropped before we got the leaf, and NO giantstalker dropped that whole time, so i was filled with glee to have the bow as a first, hard earned at that too :)

My very first epic was a Lifestone, dropped off a bear in Winterspring. It was arguably the most awesome moment of my gaming career until I dinged 70. I do still have it in my bank taking up space, I have gone to sell it many times and could never bring myself to drop it to the vendor.

My FIrst Epic was the Icemail Jerkin, which now that I think on it I wonder why in god's name I did.. Payed 40g in the AH for it!

My Second one which was arguably relevant was the Helm of Narv, and that just looked cool :)

I keep my tier and dungeon gear, for when me and friends run old world instances or pvp. (Taku the 70 warrior in AV with valor on...thats my ****** warrior friend who sucks at healing me in BG's when I go melee huntering...worst pally ever...I know he's a warrior but he still sucks at healing me...even tho hes a warrior and they cant heal...thus why he is the worst paladin ever)

And I always kept my orb of deception, but I just also de'd my warblade of the hakari (Or whatever those God Of War looking swords are called.)

Godd you crack me up!!

Along those lines:

Was doing SL with a Warr MT, a Druid OT, a Rogue and a healer.

The Druid calls out "Moeba needs a Heal!"

Rogue says "Bandage"

Whole Party wipes and I like to think of it as dying from laughter!

This was also my first epic! Took a lot of leather to make enough armor kits. :)

My first epics that actually meant something were Rhok'delar and Lok'delar. Still have them in the bank because they are just that awesome.

Same here, however I have vendored my darkmoon amulet a few month before BC.
However I still have my tier 1, 2, 2.5 set pieces collecting dust in my bank. I also have my old weapons stored there and I will never destroy my Rhok'Delar :-)

Lucky enough I only have gathering professions so I have plenty room in my bank (and two bank alts full of gathered mats).

My first epic, other than the lei of lillie purchased in the AH, wasMaulgar's Warhelm. I felt kinda bad for winning it as it was my first raid ever and I had only been part of the guild for maybe 3 weeks at most. I have many more now but still not enough. At least I don't have any more greens. Now if only I could get some pvp gear.

My first Epic was lackluster personally... I was leveling my first and only character at the time (Ebonspine) and my friend who got me to play was already 60 and had several epics. I was envious so I searched for a low level epic I might attain.

I saved, farmed, and busted my butt to get enough gold. Finally I had enough and bought Hurricane. I was level 48 and I could equip it, so needless to say I was very excited about it.

Unfortunatly I wasn't happy with it. It shoots so fast I would go through packs of arrows like crazy. I had the Quickdraw Quiver which only has 16 slots...

I only used it until I hit level 50. Then it got kicked to the curb :(
