ok, I play a shaman only lvl 7 right now but i want to know what spec i should go to start with, i want one that does the most damage BUT can get me out of trouble by healing.
I play on a full population australia server, PvP server aswell lol.
any ideas?

My shammy's not very high but i will say either enhance or elemental depending on wether you want to cast more or melee more. That's really what it comes down to.

Go super hardcore and level without any spec.
Go Enhancement.
Levelling as Elemental can be kinda fun to start off with, but by level 20, you'll be needing to drink after every second-third fight.

from my experience i have a 43 shaman i went elemental till 40 then switched to enhance and got the scarlet set to start off with and just upgraded as i went

Enhancement is really the only viable spec for levelling, at least until you get to mid-30's. Too easy to run out of mana if your strength is casting spells.
well elemental you can get to 40 no problem with, but at 40 u really need to respec to either enhance or resto enhance for soloing resto for all the instances/power lvling u can handle healers always wanted. Enhance is super great for lvling i can kill and keep killing even when i haev no mana cuz the windfury on 2 axes has superb dmg dealing
