Was wondering if this ring is worth keeping for a pve raiding gear
http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=34075

No Agi on it but alot of AP and Stam......... Humm to come and think of it it might be more(better for) pvp ring; any hoot what do u guys think of the ring? Its not to hard to get and its a way fun fight(very enjoyable).

If your on a pvp server STAY AWAY FROM SM for about a couple of days if not till Holowend ends(if your not 70, even then watch out for gank squads)

Might go look for a new ring one with +hit to it. I reached my goal of 2200+AP and 20% crit which i would like to raise to 23%, now working on +ht which is at 73 hopeing to get to 85(90 would be better)

Speaking for myself, I went to do the horseman just to check it out
and maybe get a mount, and in the time I was there it dropped several times.

Short answer, hell just pick it up. It drops all the time, you're likely to
be in a PUG, and most people will probably be more interested in trying to ninja
the flying brooms anyway.

That being said, I for myself didnt bother. I have blue rings which I find to be
better from a PvE perspective, right now it's Slayer's Mark of the Redemption and Band of Anguish that I will try to upgrade to the marginally better Kaylaan's Signet once I get a group. If you do raids, you'll find better epic rings there.

If nothing else, take it for stamina gear. Maybe you'll be tanking at Maulgar
someday, or some other encounter needs a hp boost. Or pvp, until you can get the
honor stuff.

Bottom line, it's easy to get, drops all the time, just take it :P

It's really pretty useless if you've got any 70 gear. I got it tonight, but if I compare w/ my violet signet I'm only gaining 8AP and losing hit rating... Yeah, 4 stamina... but meh.

It's decent if you don't already have something better, but there are a LOT of other options out there.

I have to agree. The ring is pretty underwhelming. To equip it, the ring it replaces has only 4 less points for AP, but a lot of that is agility, so I lose the extra benefit there. Adds a few points of stam. I guess, in a pinch, I'll use it for PvP, but it's no great upgrade. And my gear isn't exactly great.

Yeah, but how much +hit do you need in PVP? Enough for 5%, right?

I was feeling a bit iffy about it, but no one in my group wanted the second one that dropped, so I'm using it for battlegrounds/non-raiding.

Yeah the hunter ring is a joke, however I got the healing a the caster DPS ring last night off HH, we just had a group of 5 go in and summoned him 5x over. the Damage ring was more damage less stats, using it anyways, and the healing ring is a ton better than the violet signet :)

Hunters are sooooo abused in this game it's f-ing rediculous.

I think itimization for hunters is great. Just gotta know where to look :D

I am not going leather...

Embrace the leather! Get enough of us wearing tight black leather and they'll think we are all gay. While they are pondering about wether or not shooting us is a hate crime we can get the jump on people too :D

Actually, I prefer Latex. While the enemies are figuring out whether or not attacking me would make them Sadomasochistic Perverts, I annihilate them. Besides, Leather is for newbs. Latex and metal is where true perverseness lies. And yes, I am sharing too much with you, but watching you get uncomfortable is just too precious for me not to do it.

Meh, remember, as one of your minions (and sorry but I am probly sharing some classified info here), as part of the initiation, we had an instant brain dump of everything that is NorthAI, thus why we are kept in a padded cell for 3 days, usually spent in a corner, curled into a ball, sucking our thumbs while our mind tries to filter through the madness.

So no, it doesn't make me uncomfortable.

Makes my wife a little uncomfortable when I come out wearing latex and there are other people in the house <.< >.< >.>

Shock Value FTW!
#15 Oct 19 2007 at 12:21 PM Rating: Decent
come out without it then and see if they like that better.

Nope. I am a Classleader, with quite alot of power in the guild. (Might make Guildleader soon, since the guildmaster is going to go back to just a raider position due to real life problems.) Thus, I always have [Kickstick of DOOM] to cause pain with.

Awww, now your making me miss my Kickstick :(

Besides, I think he was talking more for the erotic factor, not the cause pain to make them die factor. :D

Pain mixed with Pleasure is the ultimate eroticism. Using Sensory Deprivation in a bondage environment, never knowing what will come next. A loving caress, or the switch of a well aimed Crop. The pleasure is intense, because it is mixed with it's exact antipodean opposite. Enhancing both, they shall forever stand in your mind as exquisite.

Oh, and I am drunk out of my sull at themoment, so do remind me of these posts tomorrow, as they are most likely information you wouldn't have recieverd during my... sober... moments.

Edit: I am possibly one of the few people who consider the Hellraiser series as the most excellent oorn movies ever created.

I personaly feel that the metal head box is the ultimate in sensory deprivation. The box rings when you hit it, you cant see thru the box, you can only smell your sweat in the box, you cant breathe through the box so asphyxiation kicks in, and it feels like you're in a a sauna. Supplemented with the right restraining devices any fantasy is easily achievable... as long as they involve a large metal box on the persons head.

If that doesn't get me the creep award I dunno what will.

How did a thread about an epic ring turn into a talk about bondage? I know the answer is North but seriously thats just creepy.
