After seeing the season 3 gear, some of my worser fears have been calmed. Classes aren't receiving an insane defensive buff, like from the previous season 1 to 2 gap. Couple that with the new weapons and several ways to get through armor and I believe Ming may have been correct (as much as I hate to admit it). Daggers may be coming back to life!
Mutilate will be the new FotM spec in 2.3.
Combat maces will still be very strong and I'm staying maces until I got enough points for the S3 daggers, as mutilate is just that much more fun + satisfying.

And I doubt Mut will come back. There will be interest, but it needs more than a running speed increase.

Some rogue legend predicted mutilate would make a comeback with season 3. Thought it was Ming... but yea Teddy you're right. I just think with the season 3 dagger it'll not blow as hard since people's defenses won't take a big jump this time around.

Raelie has been mut for quite a few weeks now, since before she transferred.
Ming said something about burst making a comeback. Not the 1shotomgbbq type but still burst.
It like Blizzard is using itemnization to balance off the impact resilience is having on crit classes (mages, rogues, fury warrior???)

I usually read Ming out of boredom for the random tidbit I can pick up.
Realie and most other stalk the Rogue forums so it is hard to NOT see them talking.

I'm level 34 with my rogue. I just thought I'd chime in and say that I wish all of you a fiery, painful death for being 70 and having good gear.
That being said, I'm still incredibly excited to see what S3 has to offer and excitedly equip it in AtlasLoot in the hopes that maybe by the time S4 rolls around I'll have more than just a hunter at 70 :)

nothing wrong with doing that and not doing that. I read Ming's blog cos he has an opinion and for most parts writes well. He is a tad emo sometimes so not everything can be read. Worse still he can go on and on about dueling which I do not really like.
my friends do not even read forums like this one and the o-boards. They just play the game and ask other people in game on things. I know a couple of them would feel like quiting game if they ever read any of the mage board threads and the o-board rogue threads.
