Alright so we have the new weapon enchant comming out. Its suppose to be the sex and everyone will ditch mongoose for it or whatever. Or will it? I've been on and off the PTR, and unlike mongoose this enchant will not stack. So, is it double executioner to just keep it up more? Or go with one of each for the opportunity to get that haste + AP/Crit/Dodge while ignoring armor? What do you guys think?

Depends on the setup. If you can stack lots of armor ignore, the damage boost from Executioner will be much higher. I'd have to do some testing to see.

If it doesn't stack it's one thing, but initial testing looks like it should come up well ahead of Mongoose unless you gain significant crit benefits (Seal Fate, perhaps).

i know ill be going exe/chain when i buy my s2 fist at reduced price

i just like the idea of ripping 5k armor off a druid or resto sham :D considering im +7 dmg now over mongoose its a clear cut winner for me

but then again... ive always been an expose armor fan, i use it as much as i can haha, so i guess its playstyle?

yeah, id imagine with EA on a target (or even 5-stacked sunder) armor pen gear + executioner will make life a lot easier vs high-armor targets.

with executioner, assuming a proc, EA shouldnt even be needed with IA gear to reduce the armor on a caster to zero mitigation. I was wondering which would be better for PvE, executioner/mongoose due to it not stacking or executioner/executioner. For PvP I will be looking for that new weapon chain with the +parry bonus on it.

I think Executioner MH Mongoose OH will be good.

But were you saying that mongoose and Ex won't stack?

If that's the case, I'm not sure.

Come season 3 I am going Ex/Chain for sure though, since warriors should be on the prowl utilizing Disarm to its finest.

I wasn't totally clear what I meant it seems. Executioner will not stack with itself like mongoose does. Executioner on both weapons just allows for more refreshes on the buff. Executioner does stack with mongoose.

Does chain make both weapons immune?

And I really don't see executioner being better than mongoose if the two affects don't stack. Maybe synergize it with executioner/mongoose...

Currently it makes both weapons immune since disarm is mainhand only. Thats why most put it on the off-hand. After the patch it will be duration reduction similar to the warrior talented version. I have not yet seen weapon chain on the PTR (forgot to look at mine) or seen the new version with +parry on it. But the rumor is that it is better than the warrior talent but I havent seen a screenshot or on the PTR yet.
