Summing it upFollow

within the past 24 hours i went full epic, and it took me quiet some time, had my d3 shoulders forever and my blue wand as well. (disregard the eye of quagmirran, i have 3 other epic trinkets)

Sold my account in january with 5 lvl 60 chars and started playing again in march this year with a warlock.

Once i hit lvl 70 i joined a really good raid-guil which soon after i joined disbanded, my damage back than was really crappy. I was even once below the MT.

--I really don´t like pvp´ing with any casterclass, except druids and shamans so thats why i can´t really say alot about that. Leveling a shaman now =)--

But i learned alot. Alot of stuff the hard way and on my own and alot due to comming here to allakhazam.com. Special thanks goes out to jenova at this point for him going crazy on the theoretical part.

I started playing my lock going into demonology tree and soon found myself respeccing to affliction, since my VW couldn´t hold agggro for life. that was proably due to me being impatiant and overnuking the mob in question.
I really like the drain tanking thing with affliction having my imp out all day.
than i hit lvl 67 and respecced to destruction, which was a pretty bad idea since i had big trouble with more than one mob at a time and lots of downtime.
So when i hit 70 i went into deep affliction and stayed there for a very long time.

So my advice from my experience would be: Never go destruction before you hit lvl 70 and have some decent gear, unless you have a very good understanding of your lock and how to handle certain(if not many) situations, since you lack a shedload of survivability comming from the demo and/or affliction-tree.

I didn´t have a clue about +spellhit for a long time, but i learned the hard way. as mentioned above i did less dmg than the MT at a point.

Visisting this forum frequently i really learned alot, and i think i found my way up to the top of warlocks, at least on my server and to what my gear and pve-experience grants me. i want to improve my WL and especially my dmg every single raid so i experiment alot with gear, flasks and elixirs and i hope tat i can pass some of the knowledge together with many other poster here down to more inexperienced warlocks than myself.

I really am addicted to allkhazam.com wl forum, even though i got karma-bombed lately and i do not not why (especially since i got nuked with no comments whatsoever).

Once again i want to thank jevoa and priestofsouls (here mentioned for the first time) for some really great threads on this forum, hopefully adding some of my experience to these threads every now and than. Hopefully people will, in the future, point out why they rate me down, so that i can improve.
