ok i title says most of it. I'm trying warlock, i was a rogue but i suck at PvP (only level 48 but i cant kill ****) and i felt useless in most instnces and what not, i bounced hunter after that thinking hey easy mode should be fun but i got too bored so im trying out lock. So far its pretty good (only level 16) im a blood elf and i like the way i look in cloth with my void and cant wait for felhunter (IMO feldawg looks the coolest). But i was wondering how lock fairs in endgame everything. PvE, Arena, BG, world PvP, raids everything plz. Thanks in advance.

if you are going lock in pvp you should have chosen UD for wotf. end game lock you have alot of choices when it comes to speccs. there are many viable specc bot for pve pvp and a mixture of both as a lock which makes it a pretty good choice for versatility, BUT as i take it form your post you are looking for easy mode, and a warlock certainly ain´t easymode, but it is far from away this is true for both pvp and pve. so either you get really into the class (which is true for all classes) or you continue starting over and over.

Did you ever try being main (actually the only) CC and 2nd dps with rouge and spriest 2 levels above you in instance like Underbog at level 64?
Easy mode..... yeah...

Why isn't the rogue sapping?

Sounds like a bad pug.

For the OP:

Warlocks, despite what a lot of people say, aren't easy. The ".fear/laugh" method doesn't stand up to any decent opposing player (pvp), and against mobs you'll attract too many [mobs] to easily handle (pve). A lock comes down to preparation and instant decisions, so it really forces you to concentrate.

For pvp, a good player with decent gear can beat any class, with rogues being the partial exception (anti-class). While it's possible in a 1v1 setting, it's probably the most difficult (imo).

For pve, we can solo almost anything (like a hunter).

For raids, we have a well defined roll as a main dps/cc class, with good survivability (drain health) and raid bonuses (imp bp, rit. of souls, soulstone).
