So many gem threads suddenlyFollow

I can't help but notice all the people suddenly asking how to gem their gear.

Jewelcrafting has been out the better part of a year now with no fundamental changes. Take the mystery out of it by considering it an extension of the stats that you already strive for on your gear. If it is attack power that you look for to go with your MM/BM build then gem that when you don't need to consider the socket bonus, and in my experience hunters just don't need to pay much attention to it. If you are pvping then you probably want to gem stam/agi/resil just like the gear you would get as a pvp reward.

As always please look for other similar threads or the great how-to stickies that folks have worked hard on so the boards aren't spammed with repetition. Regulars get annoyed with newbies for not doing so and newbies get annoyed with regulars for coming back with seemingly unfriendly remarks.

I hope folks take a more abject look at this and realize there is no big mystery in jewelcrafting.
