In case you already didn't know (some of you live in caves, I know) the Headless Horseman is a seasonal boss that spawns in SM:Graveyard. No pre-requisite quests, no foot work at all. Just show up with a group. He is a 5 man fight, a fun fight but not hard at all (did him with dps tank and 2nd holy paladin doing dps).
Why do you want to fly to Western Plaguelands and ride out to the Scarlet Monastery? Because the Headless Horseman drops [wowitem=34074]The Horseman's Signet Ring[/wowitem]. A very nice Epic Ring that is on par with Kara rings. Easiest healing epic you will ever get.

From what I recall you can do it 5 times in one day (once for each member of your group) though I honestly don't recall a hardcap, and maybe 5 times in just one hour is what people were doing because I do know if you reset an instance so many times in 1 hour you get locked out for 60-90minutes.,
Regardless you can run it a bunch in one day and you have more than a couple days to go!

This was perfect timing for me as I really wanted to get rid of that green ring of the physician I have.... and now it's gone ^^
You can do it at least 2 times a day, I know I did. 
EDIT: And I mean that YOU can spawn it at least twice a day, heard reports of even more.

Did him five times today but didn't try to go beyond that.

Cap'n Jack, you are either rediculously rich, work at night or are a supremely educated 16yr old who has graduated highshool, doesn't work and is taking time off before finishing your doctorates by your 18th birthday. Otherwise, how do you have so much time to do all this stuff, post on this forum responding to nub comments (see "Armor goal reached!") while still working/eating/sleeping/otherlifeessentialactions? Alright I think im done for the day with the halloween stuff, i got the healing ring, the plate helm, the dps ring, and a 60% land broom so it was pretty fun
Wanted to clear this up: you can kill the Horseman as many times as you want, provided you have someone in your group that can get the quest for that day and has not used up all 10 dailies yet. I killed him (if I remember correctly) 12 times this morning. Picked up healing ring, caster DPS ring, and plate helm.
PS: I saw people cackling madly like the Horseman when wearing the helm, but I haven't figured out how to do that yet, lol. Anyone know??
EDIT: Ok, I just learned that you can get the quest again 2 hours after doing it, not just once a day. At least, that's what a guildy said :) Not tested it myself yet.

Just right click the helm, it's a hidden "On Use" ability

I did the headless horseman 8 times today trying to get his helm and pet to drop with no luck. 3 healer rings, 4 dps caster rings, 1 melee dps ring, 4 lvl 40 mounts, 1 lvl 60 epic land mount, 2 slow flying mounts, 1 epic flying mount.
It was a good source of quick and easy void crystals though :)

so if just to clear this up for me i'm lvl 46 main if i find 4 lvl 70's i can gimp way in with them and loot anything and just hold till i can use correct??
The rings can't be sharded if I recall.

I got his helmet earlier tonight, gemmed it up nice.
It has an additional fact where you can make the helmet do his laugh an everyone nearby hears it every 30 seconds, it pwns.

Don't know if this was changed after your post, but the item name Horseman's Signet Ring is the dps caster ring, but your link is actually to the healing ring, the Witching Band. And I am very determined that this weekend, I will take the ring. ^_-

You can only do it 5 times in an hour. 10 times a day. Don't know if there is a limit on being in agroup that needs it if you can still do it. but you can 10 man this run making it extremely easy.
10 manning it is just overkill, you can 4 man it if you really wanted to. It would probably be quicker and more beneficial to those 10 people if you just split into 2 groups and did it.

Indeed. Unless you only have one tank and one healer in the group of 10. Then things get dicey.
