Gruul - changed? bugged? or whatFollow

As every week our guild went to kill Gruul yesterday. We one shooted HKM and started killing Gruul but he seemed bugged.

We pretty much always use druid as OT as we have 3 feral druids capable of doing it. This time none was online so we took protection warrior as OT.

First try - I overaggro OT during first 15 sec and get H strike but its early stage so no problem. Later I was always third on KTM never second. I was hit with H strike 2 more times and finaly died. After that he started killing rogues. It looked as every second/third strike went not to OT but to third on KTM melee.

We made 5 tries on that so far "on farm" status boss but melee kept dying all the time and finally we gave up with best try - 3 %.
It is very dissapointing as melee is a very imortant part of our guild DPS. We have usually 3 melee in top 5 DPS (2 rogues and me).
Btw I tried waiting with starting DPS to make sure OT is in melee range. No success - I still died as first.

Any idea what was wrong?

warriors in 'full' prot gear don't deal enough threat if they don't get beaten on. or at least that's my experience. You really should have a fury warrior OT if you don't have druids.

so specifically what gear was your OT war wearing? and do they know that they can't rely on rage from damage taken to dish threat, and so then have to DPS for threat?

Someone may have updated their version and it's experiencing a bug with yours. Had our druid tank stop showing up yesterday when over the weekend he was fine.

We had this problem too, actually. Even though we don't do Gruul often now we did it on an off-night and experienced this same phenomenon. Gruul was using his Hurtfuls on targets other than the second on his list. I don't know if this is a widespread problem, but it happened to us, too.
