Yeah.... warlocks don't beat mages because of their spec. Frost mages have it a little easier as they can block out of the dots/fear, but the tactic that kills us is the felhunter's special abilities and the fear from the lock. All they have to do is keep you at range running around stupidly, dot dot dot, deathcoil and you're done. When you think you want to cast, then you get spell locked by the fel puppy. End of story. That build might be fun in PvP, but I don't think you have enough of the truly good talents that lie in the deep part of the tree(s). Tier 1 talents <> tier 5 talents...

Really, you think so...wow, that was amazing. Bravo

However, being undead & with a trinket fear doesn't do me in. The felhunter still sucks, but the lack of control is not present.

I was responding to your post with my opinion and reply. Feel free to take it or leave it, but if you don't want your opinion responded to, don't post it.

That was cute, & unoriginal. I responded to your post because the faults with that build were pre-stated in my original. I guess you figured it needed to be elaborated on for known knowledge. You being thorough is not a crime, & lucky for me, neither is sarcasm.

My original post was designed for the OP, saying that I support his talent tree along with his ideas, & an example of a true controversial build is the one that I posted. Which you proved my point by replying the way that you did.

The silver lining comment was nothing more than a silver lining.

Let me elaborate: Definition of a silver lining is - a consoling aspect of a difficult situation; "every cloud has a silver lining"; "look on the bright side of it". Meaning, that being able to fight a warlock with that build is not the end-all beat-all builds to warlock killing, but more or less has the capability to toe-off with a lock.

I never said your theory/opinion was wrong.

Hmm, sorry I didn't pay more attention to the entirety of your post then. Not sure if the large amount of sarcasm is needed, though.
