I have yet to do any BG's sense lvl 19 on my warrior and was wondering how pvp at lvl 39 faired for warriors?

My current gear is able to be viewed on the link on my sig for RavagedMoon.

I am still trying to get some the Scarlet Leggings, I also Have the Berserker helm, Herods shoulder, and am trying to decide if the Whirlwind axe will cut it or if I should get a different weapon? Thanks for the advice.

BTW I will be respecing if I start PVPing to either arms or fury. Haven't decided yet.

And No I am not asking am I going to be the WTFPWNZORZ of the BGs. I am merely asking is this a good level range for a warrior. As from what I have seen lvl 19 Isn't really the best for warriors in my opinion. Maybe Im wrong.

I take it by the many views in the past 2 days and the lack of a reply,

Either

A.) This is a common question and if so I am sorry, Didn't see any posts on the first 2 pages that really gave the info I was looking for.

B.) You guys don't have the answer. Which I doubt...

or

C.) A combination of the 2. Maybe also the fact that my spec might be something people will see and say I am a joke. Sorry if you feel that way.

I am still trying to figure out if it is going to be worth pvping for a while or if I should just keep striking my way up to 40 for my mount that I already bought.

well since u got no replies ill give u my opinion

39 for me as a warrior was great because this is the lvl bracket you get zerker stance and all the clothie chars arent that powerful yet

BGing can get you some good items at 38....derilers belt and boots...wsg ring and you can save up some marks and honour for Beserker bracers at lvl 40...WHICH OWN

Go fury spec because i reckon arms is totally useless without Mortal Strike and the extra crit chance helps alot

You have to try the bracket because i liked it so much (i PvP all the time but thats beside the point XD)

also lvl 19 BG is the worst bracket for non twinks....continuous loops of urself dieing can be frustrating :S

sorry, sometimes threads slip past us, and many of us dont like commenting on experiences we dont personally have.

having said that, i dont have a 39 twink war, but ive fought them. they can be strong, but 40-49 is the sweet spot for warriors thanks to MS, second wind, cruelty and TM all being within reach. at 39, youre probably better off with fury (2h fury prolly, altho DW isnt too bad) so you can get the goodies of piercing howl and death wish. granted, death wish wont be there come 2.3, but for now at least, fury is primo in the 20-29 and 30-39 brackets. piercing howl is a hell of a skill.

for gear, WW axe is totally fine. its a great weapon for its level. the rest of your gear seems good, but picking up some BoE pants and sticking the stam/agi patch on em asap isnt a bad idea, even if theyre only green "of the bear" stuff.

personally tho, 40-49 feels like the "strongest" realm for warriors. you have a lot of good weapon choices (one for each spec, axe, sword or mace), MS, second wind, and pretty much every good pvp skill except death wish (soon to change) and recklessness (which you get at 50).

if youre interested, the weapons available at 40-49 include the BoE epic kang the decapitator, a 2h sword from archaedas in uldaman, and a 2h mace from archaedas, all of which are big, slow, high-damage 2h weapons, so you're easily able to serve a variety of weapon styles.

Thanks for the replies. I just figured while I had a lot of BoE or BoP blues that I should at least try to take advantage of it. Unfortunately I know little about twinking and if I would be doing it right.

The one thing I did know is I had almost 400 more health than a lvl 36 warrior that I was running an instance with so I am not sure if I am over geared or if this guy is undergeared.

Thanks again. I just figured that I was being ignored cause of a common post thing or something... but I didn't see it so thats why I put that there.

Thanks =D

for the health thing, my semi-twinked shammy (good gear for her level, but no crazy enchants) had a bit more than 2k life at 39. my friends warlock, who he did twink pretty well, but still not crazy-style, had around 2400 health, but he used a lot of straight +shadow damage gear (he had around 250 +dmg total i think). id imagine if you pushed the envelope you could pass 3k without too much difficulty.

Sounds great! I am siting at about 1800 or so atm. My friend has a warrior as his main and was quite impressed with my health and gear. I am gonna have to replace the crappy SM gear to get it better though.

I might just put on my scarlet agus with a good 1 hand sword and be flag runner =D
