I"ll never understand why eating will break stealth when I can eat then stealth and continue eating. is there any suggestions to patch to fix this?

You actually used to be able to eat in stealth... instead of having to eat first and then stealth. They changed this a long while ago (when they changed several things about how stealth behaves). Before said patch hunters could aimed shot out of stealth and such (I can't remember the patch number... but it was a LONG while ago).
