Just as it says, I'm looking for the best pet, in your opinion. Right now, at 22, I'm using a scorpid, because I am a poor Blood Elf so i need the protection that Scorpid offers in place of armor. My back-up pet is soon to be a tortoise, but other than that, which is the best pet?????

i would say that the all around pet is the boar, but cats and wolves are awesome too. It doesn't matter too much, just don't get a defensive style pet like a turtle, offense is the best defense. ^^GL on your hunter levels.
for me, as a 54 hunter I love my hyena that I got over in desolace. From the little research I did on petopia found that the hyenas were one of the best "jack of all trades" because they were decent tanks and decent dps. Had him for about 6 lvls now and haven't had any problems pulling aggro off him.
