Hello i have a 47 hunter on a pvp server and was wondering what to do against shamans. If i can sneak up on them then i basically kill them in 5 GCD's but if they interrupt me then i feel helpless and despite my best efforts usually barely kill them
Learn to kite :)
Like caldone said kiting is key to pvp for a hunter. But also you could have helped by telling us what spec you are. and some other stuff. at that level im not sure what trees could help you the most though.
I'm gonna have to agree with Caldone. Basic kiting skills are the bread and butter of being a hunter.
If you're dealing with a enchance shaman, just kite the guy until he falls dead. Keep your distance and you shouldn't have too much trouble fighting the guy.
Your spec might have something to do with it too. Between traps, concussive shot, and my pets intimidation I don't have too much problem with melee lately.
