Okay so I've never really looked too hard at Tiger's Fury and what it would be use ful for.
So it costs 30 energy for a 6 second duration of +40 damage.
My understanding is that it is useful to hit prior to ravage as it doesnt break stealth.
Is it worthwhile before a 5 pointer combo or a waste of time? It seems like a waste of time to me.

In a raid attack rotation, if the mob is unbleedable and someone else is mangling (so your rotation is shred, shred, shred...) it's ALMOST debatable wether keeping TF up is worth it.
In general it's not worth what you could be getting for that 40 energy.

Indeed, it usually ain't worth it unless you can pop it up, wait 3,9 sec. and then begin the fight with Ravage+Mangle/Shred (waiting to attack a milisecond before the next Energy Tick is a skill valued highly by Rogues, and something we should know of as well). This method can somewhat let you start the fight with 110 effective Energy and a 2 second duration of a sensible amount of +dmg.
But generally speaking using it in mid-fight is not worth the Energy...
