Setting up my wifes enhancement shammy. Going Merciless glad's Main hand weapon. For off-hand also going with a Merciless weapon, was hoping to put her into the merciless fist weapons for main hand and off-hand. But the off-hand is I think 1.8 seconds. Theres the Merciless weapon with 2.6 second speed and its a One-Hand weapon so she could dual weild them (97 dps 1h mace)
So for off-hand should I go with the 2.6 second mace for massive storm strikes? or the merciless fists main hand and off-hand with the off-hand at 1.8 speed and 2.7 speed main hand. Please respond, thanks.

You want your offhand to be at least 2.4 speed for maximum Stormstrike and especially Windfury (double Windfury suffers greatly the faster your offhand is). Go for the mace.
if I windfury the off-hand then the off-hand can steal my main hand Storm Strikes, I always do WF on main hand and rockbiter on off-hand so the off-hands weaker damage doesnt steal my main hands WF proc (the WF has a invisible 3 second cool-down)

No, Storm Strike always hits with both weapons simultaneously, so one hand ca't steal it from the other, it is also worth noting that because the hits are simultaneous WF can proc on both weapons at once beating the 3 second rule.
Despite the hidden timer WF/WF on 2 slow weapons is the best DPS you can get, WF/RB is not even close.

Is it still the case that if you put WF on both weapons, the offhand weapon must be downranked one?
It has been a while since I played my shaman, but levelling him now from 60 to 70.

No, the idea behind doing that was to beat the hidden timer but since blizz "fixed" that there is no point downranking. Just put your highest rank WF on both weapons and go to town.

Thanks. On humanoid runners I tend to use Frostbrand by the way, just to make them run away a bit slower /smile.

Windfury on both is wat i use i rarely have a warrior or nething steal agro from me i get the agro using stormstriek with a sideorder of windfury, im 42 dranei shaman and a 39 orc shaman did the chicken dance and i initiated the duel and i hit em once using stormstrike and windfury procd that took him down to half and he heald twice and only totem i had out was grace of air but all in all not mean to brag but i used to b elemental and did a lot of instant dps but cudn survive long being i had to get cloth to get the intell i needed but with enhance dual weild i can not only last longer but hit harder and b an off tank or the tank and outdps every class by far in an instance as long as i get a heal or 2 thrown my way mana really isnt an issue with an enhancement shaman u hit as hard as a mage casting a spell

Call me a n00b, but I thought the idea of doing dps in a group was to NOT pull aggro from the tank.

Just keep earthbind down when fighting runners, or frostshock when they reach low health.
Well im only 43 so thers times that i am the tank and the warriors are strictly dps otherwise ur correct i guess i wasnt very clear

It really is... sure Shamans can tank in certain situations, but that doesn't mean they should... especially if there is a real tanking class available. At 43 a warrior is already a better tank than you will ever be... you should be DPS'ing since you are the highest DPS in the game at that point if you know what y'r doing.
