I had some random 70 get in an arguement with me in Silvermoon city due to him telling a level 23 hunter that he should get a Scorpid as they get Crippling Poison at end game.
He didn't seem to grasp the fact that it was our Snake trap and not the scorpid pet he was fighting. Why are people so dense?

Well, duh, everyone knows scorpids get Mind Numbing poison. Gosh what an idiot.
Oh yeah... I forgot that it was that secret spell from a scorpid that you get in the Arena down Below where you have to tame 5 different scorpids in 2 min then a boss scorpid shows up and you tame him and have to use his skill 50 times on the rest of the trash mobs to learn it. the fun part is you have to do it in 30 sec.

Any hunter worth their salt has 25 secs free.
I remember that, pretty easy. I did it while doing my taxes.

Yeah, those 15 seconds of intense work are kinda advanced for a new Hunter. But there is a solution if you want Crippling Poison. Tame a nice Rogue. So far, I've only managed to do this to an Undead Rogue. Usually comes with Prowl, Crippling and Deadly Poison. The disadvantage is that the Dash is on a five minute CD. The Undead variety also has a nice ability to regain health by eating Humanoid mobs you've killed, and break Fear. No need for BM Specc for that if you get the Undead Rogue pet.
They do have this ugly tendency to aggro stuff and suddenly vanish, dumping all the Aggro on you. Can be rectified with Feign Death.
And I can only wish that I was joking right now. Our guild has very friendly relations to a Horde guild, and one of their Rogues in particular. He has helped me quest on several occasions, and also helped me kill Bots and ********* of my own Faction. The standing joke is that I am the only Hunter on the server that has tamed a member of the opposite faction.
