Better DPS Possibilites?Follow

#1 Oct 15 2007 at 3:21 AM Rating: Decent
I'm a 48 frost mage and i normally finish 2nd in dps by not too far but id really like to be 1st. While in runs my normal line up is frostbolt to get chill effect fireblast arc missles repeat. I might throw in a CoC or arc expl when needed. I do very good in CC and its rare that pull aggro. Is there a better way for me to line up spells for a better dps output.

Magic absorption is only that good if you're fighting lower level caster types. Then you get mana, but if you're fighting same level casters, you don't seem to resist as much. It'd be interesting to see if resilience gear in PvP counts as a resist to give mana back?

It has a couple specific uses(Illhoof AoE imp tanking, for instance), but as a whole, the talent is only good when you find yourself in situations where a lot of resistance is required for the mage.

That's fairly rare from what I've seen. Was a much better talent Pre-TBC when every raid had 1-2 fights minimum where high resist was a must.
