i was originally going to be subtlety until i ran into a 59 rogue in AB who perfectly stun locked me, i scroll up in combat log..sure enough he was mutilate. so now i don't know if i should go stun lock with mutilate or if i should stick to original idea of shadowstep. i plan on pvping for a short while, currently 59 done enough pvping going to lvl up to 60 and do AV for epic mount. then i plan on going straight for 70. soo..i wanna know whats best hybrid, but 1 line. mutilate or shadowtep...

Well, im guessing gold is an issue, which is why you want 1 build. You want to be able to pvp and pvp relatively well too.

Well, with Muti you can definitely get off a good stunlock for pvp, and drop mobs like paper (you being scissors).

Shadowstep is the best 50-59 PvP build IMO and combat swords is probably the best PvE build. Mutilate is a nice flexible middleground. This is my current build and I love it :)

The stunlock rotation you may be looking for is:

CS>CB>Mut>5 pt KS>Wait for 60 energy>Mut>Mut>Evisc/Envenom

During the wait for 60 energy, your opponent will have about 2-3 seconds against you, but other than that, it is (almost) flawless

1stly, shadowstep is the worst idea that you and all newbies could possibly have. you guys are constantly asking about it, try it, it sucks. you shouldn't need us to tell you that at this point. hell, make a free character on the player test realm and try it out for free. that's why people call it lolstep. b/c it's trash. it sucks pvp and pve.

2ndly, mutilate and lolstep are not hybrids, 30/0/31 is a hybrid.

3rdly, mutilate is better, combat swords is just as good....

Yes, actually Shadowstep is wonderful in the 59 bracket. Granted, it sucks enormous balls in the 70 bracket, but the total lack of resilience, gear, and real opposition at that level let it own.

This question was actually raised earlier last week, but has since been shunted off the first page. Here is a link to the other thread about 59 pvp...
