Unarmed Skill=Immune to Disarm?Follow

If you d/w fist weapons does that make you immune to disarm? I already know the answer as I tried it out the other day on a friend who d/w's fist weps, but why is it that way? If you have fist weapons and that increases your unarmed skill, why do you get disarmed? It reminds me of the thought I had; Since undead mobs are immune to sap, why can't my undead warrior be immune to it as well? lol

Just some food for thought about the Fist Weapons though.

Some points of this game sacrifice realism for the sake of balance. In regards to fist weapons, they would be overpowered compared to daggers, swords, etc if they made you immune to disarm. Also, if they functioned as fists, then abilities which are only available with melee weapon equipped (e.g. most rogue and warrior abilities, any melee hunter ability e.g. wing clip) would also be unable to be used.

As far as undead go, it was because you have abilities which only work on undead which are balanced (as best blizzard can) for PvE, while abilities against humanoids are balanced for both. You want sap immunity on your undead? Okay, but my priest can shackle you, my paladin can cast exorcism on you (an SD pally would own you in seconds if that were the case), and there would be issues with tracking, etc.

I understand why fist weapons and undead are the way they are. I just wanted to see some difference of opinion thats all =)
