Elemental Sham. Leather or Smith?Follow

im starting a new Shammy , Elemental for endgame, and i wasnt sure if i should take leather or blacksmith. i know leather has the trible BOP endgame gear..but its leather.. Does blacksmithing have any caster mail for endgame worthwile? or a weapon perhaps?

I must admit I have gone Herb/Alch on my new Shammie and have found it to be very complimentary. Helps with my low level OOM problems to speed up grinding, the defence potions are great, the regen potions will work nicely with my water totems, added strength and armour also offer good synergy for some of my other totems.

Go LW Netherstrike is going to be the best you're going to do end game until you get quite deep into raiding.
