From Osiris's Rogue Guide:

Stunlock Mutilate Move:

CS, mut, KS, mut, gouge, restealth, CS, KS, mut, mut, eviscerate

Ummmm...how the hell does he get enough energy to Gouge before KS wears off? There's just simply not enough energy to do this.

What am I missing?

I don't have time to sit down and do the math but options are:

Adrenaline Rush
Having more than 100 max energy
Waiting a few ticks before KS

If none of those are viable, then I'll look later.

Mutilate and AR? That would be awesome, of course not currently possible.

I assume he is gouging and running so that he can restealth before his opponent catches and hits him or casts.

Ah true, I'm a moron. I've always been combat so sometimes I forget that its a talent. The other two are still valid possibilities I think.

With 120 energy you can do anything, but that form of mutilate died a long time ago. Stunlock in group pvp is for all intents and purposes dead.

And the reasons being:

Stunlock works great on opponents who have no stun resist, trinkets or resilience. In arena, where 95% of the opponents you face have all three available throwing KS is actually kind of a bad idea.

The typical mutilate arena sequences goes as such:

CS -> Mut -> EA -> Mut -> Mut -> SnD -> Mut -> Mut -> KS -> Mut -> Mut repeat.

The days of 10 second 100-0 battles are over.

KS lasts for 6s. Assuming you KS with 110 or 120e, mut -> gouge is easily possible. You could even do it with105e and still pull it off right after eachother.

I figured it out. If you cold blood before cheapshot (5 point CS) you have enough time/energy to get the gouge off after the KS.

Tested it out in AB this morning and it works really nice. Not going to happen on a 4 point CS though.
