I'm sure this has been addressed before but I've been reading this forum frequently and I can't remember any definitive information about this. Here's my question - if I don't train for my elite ground mount, can I still get the flight form and skip the five hundred something gold fees?

Ombre - Retired Dragoon/bard on Phoenix.
Riding 150 is required for Flight Form.
