I was sitting here this morning, thinking that I should start planning my pets talent build. So off to petopia I go, to the talent calculator. Talent points are becoming scarse now, and talents are costing more and more, so I need to plan.
I have my windserpent Skii. Whom I will never abandon. I would leave my guild before I left her. So that is what I am sticking with. I plan to raid with her.
I figure I would build her talents like this.
Growl - Rank 8 (0 points)
Lightning Breath - Rank 6 (25 points)
Cobra Reflexes - Rank 1 (15 points)
Avoidance - Rank 2 (25 Points)
Natural Armor - Rank 9 (125 points)
Greater Stamina - Rank 9 (150 points)
This totals up to 340 points, leaving me 10 points left over, that I could put into spell resists based on my needs.
Now my question is this. Will this build be fine, or should I try to rework it to max out my either Greater Stamina or Natural Armor?

What I did with my cat, with regards to armor and stam, is max out stam. In groups, your pet usually isn't going to taking any direct hits so armor is less of a worry. AoE spells are where the damage is going to be coming from so max stam combined with avoidance greatly increases the pet's survivability. It's worked out well for me and still allows me to solo.
